For Half-Buck Fly Shop flies sold by the dozen, we hand tie each of your flies to order. It takes between 15 to 30 days to process an order.
All Fly Deal Express items are shipped within 1-3 business days and typically arrive within 3-6 days from your order date.
Mixed Orders containing both Half Buck Fly Shop items and Fly Deal Express items will arrive in split shipments along the same timelines as mentioned above. We pay for this duplicate shipping, so there is no additional cost for this.
* International destination (non US) orders will experience longer transit times based on local couriers and customs.
Shipping is a flat-rate $6.95 for any US orders under $125. International shipping is $13.95, outside the US. All orders over $125, shipping is FREE.
Mixed Orders containing both Half Buck Fly Shop items and Fly Deal Express items will arrive in split shipments. If ordering items from both sides of our business within a single order, you will receive two shipments. We pay for this duplicate shipping, so there is no additional cost for this.

No worries here at all. You will not be charged any hidden fees or taxes.
We accept all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, AmericanExpress and Discover. We also accept PayPal for payment.
When you purchase a gift certificate it is charged to your payment method immediately, and upon checkout you can enter the email address of the friend or family member that you wish to receive the gift, along with a short message to them.
Not a problem. Just contact us and let us know. If possible, please take a picture of your packing slip and the item you received for visual insights into what you received vs. what was ordered. We will aim to make sure to remedy the situation for you, either with a re-tie or a refund.
For Fly Deal Express orders, just notify us ASAP and we will reply to confirm the status of your order. Procedures will vary based upon the fulfilment phase in which your order has progressed into (returning products vs. pre-shipment status).
For Half Buck Fly Shop orders, when an order is submitted we collect pre-payment because we actually ‘custom tie’ every order. We pay to tie the flies specifically for you do not stock any inventory. It is a unique business model, however provides huge savings to our customers. If an order is requested to be cancelled immediately after it is placed, we can typically halt production and cancel the order without issue. If the order has already been tied and/or is in the production phase, please reach out to us where we can hopefully find a fair and reasonable way forward.
For Fly Deal Express orders, just notify us and we will provide instructions on how to return your products to us. All items must be in their original unit packaging.
For Half Buck Fly Shop orders, we ‘custom tie’ every order. We pay to tie the flies specifically for you do not stock any inventory. With that being said, we do not have any practical use for returned products. If you are at all unhappy with your purchase, please contact us and we will aim to work with you to hopefully find a fair and appropriate way forward.
