The Inchworm imitates, yep you guessed it, an inchworm. These little guys are found all around the world. They are easily identified as small green caterpillars and if there are moths in the area, you can bet there are inchworms too. Tied with hollow deer hair which helps it to float well. Casting these flies in areas with foliage and overhanging trees is often a productive way to fish for trout in creeks. It’s not the first choice of flies for many anglers, but they are certainly nice to have in your terrestrial box.
