The Beadhead Crystal Bugger is a refined rendition of the classic trout fly. With a bit more flash to excite trout beneath the water’s surface and a bead-head to get the fly down into the strike zone quickly. This fly is excellent in bigger pools and stripped upstream. The rule of thumb with these fishing flies is to choose a dark one on cloudy days and a lighter-colored one on sunny days. This is to account for the sun’s reflection through the water. Be sure to have a few black buggers in varying sizes as well as a few white ones too.
