The orange Big Horn Shrimp pattern is a favorite amongst tailwater fisherman in the west. This pattern can be effective all year long and sees a spike in success when the warmer months roll around. The orange color helps this pattern match the spring that are being pumped into the river system. Often times, anglers will fish multiple of these shrimp patterns in the same nymph rig. If you plan on taking a trip to Montana it is a safe call bringing a few of these patterns with you.
